USDC Supply Soars Amid 'Digital Dollar Reflation' Predictions
Financial analysts at Bernstein are predicting a new growth cycle for Circle's USDC stablecoin. According to a recent report, USDC supply has grown by about $2 billion in just seven days, after six months of limited growth.
Bernstein believes that this growth can continue without the passage of the US CLARITY Act, which some had thought was necessary for further expansion. The firm points to several potential drivers of growth, including the crypto markets, changes in US regulation, tokenized capital markets, and stablecoin payments.
USDC's share of adjusted stablecoin transaction volume has risen from around 40% in 2025 to over 60% in 2026. Bernstein notes that this 'digital dollar reflation' could be a positive sign for Circle Internet Group, which operates USDC.
