USDT and USDC Supply Rebound After Three-Month Contraction
USDT and USDC supply have seen an increase of approximately $1.7 billion in August, ending a three-month contraction. This growth indicates a possible recovery in liquidity within the crypto market.
The combined circulating supply of these two stablecoins had previously decreased by around $2.6 billion in May, $6.0 billion in June, and $2.2 billion in July. The recent uptick in USDT and USDC supply coincides with a rise in Bitcoin's price from around $60,000 to nearly $80,000.
However, observers note that this rebound remains modest compared to historical trends, where monthly growth above $10 billion typically signals stronger liquidity expansion.
