Uzbekistan Invests Big in Crypto Mining and Data Centers
Uzbekistan is set to become a major player in the crypto mining industry with plans to build three mining centers and three data centers worth $5.11 billion in the northwestern region of Karakalpakstan. According to local parliament chairman Amanbay Orynbaev, all six projects are already in the implementation stage.
The region is also advancing its green energy initiatives, including a $3.3 billion wind power plant being built with Saudi Arabian firm Acwa. The investment will not only provide a reliable source of renewable energy but also support the growth of the crypto mining sector.
