Valdora Brings Real-World Yield to Onchain Finance

Valdora CEO Waseem Salim has over a decade of experience in fintech, having previously played a pivotal role at the Algorand Foundation. He now leads Valdora, a liquid staking and onchain vault infrastructure that turns yield-bearing assets into liquid and composable assets.

The company's platform allows users to deposit stablecoins into a vault, which is then routed into real-world yield strategies such as private credit or quantitative trading. In return, users receive a liquid vault token that represents their position and appreciates in value as the strategy earns.

According to Salim, the problem Valdora is solving is that most onchain yield today is circular, with little connection to the real economy. Traditional finance offers high yields, but often requires locking capital away for years. Valdora's approach separates the strategy's timeline from the user's timeline, allowing users to capture yields while keeping funds liquid.

Salim emphasizes that his team has a low tolerance for hype and focuses on building real utility and transparency into their platform. They aim to change the way people think about onchain finance, moving beyond speculation towards real-world applications.
