VanEck Avalanche ETF (VAVX) Sees 44% Net Asset Value Drop
The VanEck Avalanche ETF (VAVX) has seen its net asset value drop by 44% in recent times, mirroring the decline of the AVAX price. According to the latest quarterly report from the SEC, the VAVX NAV fell from $14.02 to $7.88 as of June 30, 2026.
The decline is largely attributed to the plummeting price of AVAX, which has been trading lower due to various market and regulatory factors. The fund's holdings in AVAX have a fair value of $11,568,748, down from $16,534,160 as of December 31, 2025.
The report also highlights the impact of staking fees on the fund's net asset value. The staking fee, which is accrued daily and paid monthly, has contributed to the decline in NAV. The sponsor fee waiver, related party, has been zeroed out for the period, resulting in a lower total expense ratio.
