The zero-sponsor-fee period for VanEck's Bitcoin ETF (HODL) came to an end on July 31, despite its net assets reaching $1.076 billion by that date.

This is short of the $2.5 billion threshold needed to keep the fee waiver in place until November 25, according to KuCoin.

HODL's net assets were about $1.424 billion below the threshold as of July 30, so it remained fully covered by the waiver on its final day.
