VanEck Forecasts $11,800 Ethereum Price by 2030
Ethereum's long-term trajectory is looking increasingly promising, according to asset manager VanEck. The company projects a base-case price of $11,800 for Ethereum by 2030, based on four key drivers: fee revenue, staking yields, Layer-2 scaling, and institutional smart contract adoption.
The forecast arrives as Ethereum consolidates near $2,470, with traders watching for a decisive move above the $2,600 resistance level. VanEck's Matthew Sigel frames the bullish case around Ethereum's evolution into a cash-generating settlement layer rather than a speculative asset.
Jacob Crypto Bury countered this view, suggesting that $7,000 to $8,000 is more realistic for Ethereum by 2030, and dependent on statistical factors. A separate model cited in the analysis reaches even further, projecting $14,135 by 2031.
