VanEck's HODL Trust Sees $15M Exit Amid Bitcoin Rally

VanEck's Bitcoin fund, the HODL trust, saw an outflow of $15.27 million on September 11, as investors redeemed shares. This move trimmed assets under management to around $1.14 billion, with the redemption representing about 1.34% of AUM.

The related asset, BTC-USD, is currently trading at $78,092.88, up approximately 17.18% over the past three months as Bitcoin continues to recover ground lost in prior drawdowns.

A short-term technical signal for BTC is flashing a 'Buy' indication, even as ETF investors appear to be tactically de-risking. This divergence between HODL flows and Bitcoin's price trend highlights how some institutional and retail holders are using spot ETFs as liquidity tools rather than long-term vaults.
