Vegas Grandmother Vanishes Amidst Mysterious Text Messages
Alisa Goods, a 63-year-old grandmother of five from New York, vanished without a trace while visiting Las Vegas. Her family reported her missing on August 10, two days after she was last seen leaving a friend's apartment near Maryland Parkway and Tropicana Avenue.
Goods was staying with her longtime friend Roger John, who said she left his apartment around 12:45 p.m. on August 8 to pick up iron pills at a nearby CVS. She never came back.
'Last I saw her, she was going down the stairs. And I said, ‘OK, see you later,’ And that’s the last time I saw her,' John told KLAS-TV.
Days after Goods disappeared, her family started receiving suspicious text messages from her phone. The person asking for gas money and Bitcoin said 'What do you need gas for? The car?' but Goods doesn't drive and didn't have a car in Las Vegas.
