VerifiedX Secures $15M for Institutional Bitcoin Infrastructure
VerifiedX Foundation has launched a $15 million financing round to expand institutional infrastructure for Bitcoin-backed products. The project aims to secure custody integrations, exchange listings, and lending services globally.
Cantor Fitzgerald is serving as the investment banking partner, but no details have been disclosed about the investors or terms of the deal. VerifiedX claims that initial institutional capital has been secured, but the amount raised remains unknown.
The funding will support the development of custody connections with BitGo and Base, as well as the listing of vBTC on centralized exchanges. The project also plans to establish lending facilities that allow customers to borrow against Bitcoin or lend assets for returns.
