Vida Trims BTC Holdings Amid Bull Market Expectations and Macro Pressures
Vida, the founder of Fangchengshi, made headlines in early February when he acquired $3 million worth of spot Bitcoin at an average price of roughly $59,000. This significant purchase was only the beginning of Vida's BTC-related activities.
As it turns out, Vida had previously reduced his one-third BTC position, which suggests that he is adjusting to market conditions and preparing for potential price fluctuations. The trader is now targeting a re-entry between $45,000 and $55,000 within the next one to three years. This move comes amidst an expected bull market, but also amid pressure from AI industry impact and US Treasury yield fluctuations.
Vida's strategy isn't limited to long-term predictions. The trader separately deployed $8 million to purchase 128.28 BTC between $70,500 and $60,035 at an average cost of $62,363.57 for short-term scalping rebound. This investment is a testament to Vida's market analysis and ability to adapt to changing conditions.
The current price of Bitcoin stands at $63,500.41, with the 4-hour chart indicating that it is testing upper resistance at $64,310.32. The EMA50 and EMA200 also define overhead resistance in a bearish structure confirmed by a MACD death cross and neutral RSI. This analysis suggests a healthy retracement toward the 50-EMA support before any continuation.
