Virtune Rebalances Crypto Altcoin Index ETP Ahead of September 2026
Virtune AB (Publ) has completed its monthly rebalancing for September 2026 of the Virtune Crypto Altcoin Index ETP. The company announced that it had carried out the rebalancing on various stock exchanges, including Nasdaq Stockholm, Nasdaq Helsinki, Xetra, and the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
The Virtune Crypto Altcoin Index ETP is one of several products offered by Virtune, which includes other exchange-traded products (ETPs) focused on specific cryptocurrencies. The company's product portfolio also includes ETPs for Arbitrum, Avalanche, Bitcoin, and others.
According to the announcement, the index allocation for the Virtune Crypto Altcoin Index ETP has changed as a result of the rebalancing. Prior to the change, the top five assets in the index were Hyperliquid (12.18%), Chainlink (11.53%), Solana (11.52%), XRP (10.57%), and BNB (10.47%). After the rebalancing, Canton, Cardano, Bitcoin Cash, BNB, Solana, Stellar, XRP, Toncoin, and Hyperliquid each hold a 10% weight in the index.
The announcement also mentioned that the performance of the Virtune Crypto Altcoin Index ETP for August was 18.35%. The company stated that the purpose of the monthly rebalancing is to provide equal-weighted exposure to altcoins, allowing investors to gain broad exposure to crypto assets beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum.
