Visa Bolsters Stablecoin Capabilities for Business Payments

Share

Visa has taken another step towards integrating digital assets into mainstream financial infrastructure by expanding its stablecoin capabilities for business payments through a partnership with on-chain infrastructure provider Zero Hash.

The move allows businesses using Visa Direct to prefund their accounts with stablecoins and execute payouts through Zero Hash's platform, eliminating the need to convert digital assets to fiat before transactions.

Visa Direct is a global real-time payments network that connects more than 18 billion accounts, digital wallets, and other endpoints across over 195 countries and territories. By integrating stablecoin capabilities, Visa aims to offer businesses greater flexibility in managing cross-border transactions and liquidity, particularly for those operating in the digital asset economy.

The partnership with Zero Hash reflects a broader trend of traditional financial institutions embracing blockchain technology for practical use cases, rather than speculative trading.
