Visa Partners with Dunamu to Explore Stablecoin Payments and AI-Driven Financial Services

Share

Dunamu, the parent company of South Korea's largest crypto exchange Upbit, has announced a strategic partnership with Visa to explore stablecoin payments and AI-driven financial services.

The partnership will also focus on international remittances, global transfers, merchant settlements, and new user experiences. Dunamu CEO Oh Kyung-seok and Visa Global President Oliver Jenkyn presented a roadmap for the partnership at Visa's Global Market Support Center on August 26.

The specific details of the partnership are still unclear, including which blockchain will be used, who will manage customer assets, and how regulatory compliance will be handled. However, it is expected that the companies will combine Dunamu's digital asset infrastructure with Visa's global payments network to create new services.
