Visa Teams with Upbit Parent on Stablecoin Payments and AI Commerce

Share

Visa has partnered with Dunamu, the parent company of South Korea's Upbit crypto exchange, to explore stablecoin payments and AI-enabled commerce.

The partnership aims to combine Dunamu's digital asset technology with Visa's global payments infrastructure to study product and service opportunities across major markets.

The collaboration will test stablecoin-based use cases for payments, remittances, and settlement services, leveraging Visa's existing network.

Dunamu is evaluating multiple stablecoin options, including Open Standard's dollar-backed OUSD, but has not prioritized a specific asset design.
