Visa's Stablecoin Settlements Soar to $20 Billion Annualized
Visa has achieved an annualized stablecoin settlement volume exceeding $20 billion, representing a more than 15-fold increase compared to last year.
This growth is largely driven by over 160 live stablecoin-linked card programs globally, with payment volumes growing nearly 200% year-over-year.
Visa notes that certain crypto-linked card businesses are constrained by working capital needs to support continuous settlement cycles.
To address this challenge, on-chain credit can reduce financing costs by up to 30%, and platforms like Credit Coop have launched stablecoin-denominated revolving credit facilities.
