Vitalik Buterin Shuts Down AI-Driven Bitcoin Crash Predictions
Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin has addressed concerns that artificial intelligence (AI) and security technologies could compromise Bitcoin's security system, leading to a price drop of more than 50% in BTC.
Buterin stated that the fundamental security mechanisms of the Bitcoin network are resilient to such threats. He noted that potential attacks on the network layer can be addressed by updating client software and mining pools.
According to Buterin, it is extremely low for the hash function or Proof-of-Work (PoW) mechanism to be seriously compromised. These systems form the basis of Bitcoin's security model and will continue to play a crucial role in protecting the network in the future.
