VIXA Brings Simple Crypto Transactions to African Markets
VIXA, an AI-powered money platform built for Africa by Nigerian technology company BitMigo Technologies, has launched, giving users a new way to buy, sell, convert, send and move digital money through WhatsApp.
The platform supports crypto and stablecoin transactions, including widely used assets such as Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum, BNB, Solana, TRON, USDC, XRP, Dogecoin and Toncoin, alongside a broader range of supported assets. VIXA is launching with zero transfer fees on eligible transactions and processing designed to take as little as 60 seconds.
The company's co-founders, Oladipo Victor and Saviours Daniel, believe that people should not have to become experts in financial technology before they can use it. They want the infrastructure to be complicated underneath while keeping the user experience simple.
VIXA's next phase will expand beyond its initial crypto and money-movement capabilities with the introduction of virtual and physical cards designed for spending across supported African markets, as well as access to a broader online and physical merchant network. The company is also planning to provide access to tokenized equities, subject to applicable regulatory and market requirements.
