Wallet Taps Liquidity Staking Tokens for $20M USDC Loan on Hyperlend

A wallet on Hyperlend has taken out a significant loan using liquidity staking tokens as collateral. The wallet deposited approximately $47 million in wstHYPE and $33 million in kHYPE, totaling $81 million in value.

This amount was used to borrow 20.57 million USDC through Hyperlend's lending protocol. The debt-to-collateral ratio is around 25%, providing a buffer above the liquidation threshold of 1.0.

The wallet has a net borrowing capacity of approximately $60.5 million remaining, according to on-chain data analysis firm Onchain Lens.
