Walmart's electric vehicle (EV) charging network has reached a significant milestone - 100 locations across 20 states. The company's shares fell by 0.92% to $102.64 as it marked this achievement, extending intraday losses after retreating from levels above $104.

The retail giant opened its 100th EV fast-charging site at a Supercenter in Monument, Colorado, expanding its charging infrastructure across the country. Most locations offer between eight and 16 fast-charging stalls for electric vehicles, with some chargers capable of delivering up to 400 kilowatts of power.

Walmart's network supports both CCS and NACS connectors, ensuring broad compatibility with most electric vehicles currently operating on American roads. This expansion gives Walmart an advantage in attracting drivers across various vehicle brands and charging standards.
