Warren Accuses Trump of Prioritizing Crypto, Stocks Over Cost-of-Living Relief
Senator Elizabeth Warren has accused President Donald Trump of prioritizing his personal financial activities over cost-of-living relief for Americans. Speaking on Sunday, Warren highlighted reports of individuals rationing insulin and selling plasma to survive due to severe cost pressures.
In contrast, Trump's financial dealings have been under scrutiny in recent days. According to his 2025 financial disclosure, his crypto ventures generated more than $1.4 billion, with over $635 million coming from memecoin royalties. This figure represents roughly 45% of his total crypto revenue and highlights a heavy reliance on speculative token sales.
Warren has been critical of Trump's involvement in the Official Trump memecoin, which has generated significant controversy. Meanwhile, Trump's blind trust disclosed over 21,000 stock transactions executed in 2025, including shares in Uber Technologies (NYSE: UBER), NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA), and Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL). The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
