Warren Slams Trump Over Cryptocurrency Earnings Amid Widespread Disapproval

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) has pointed out that President Donald Trump is profiting from his time in office, citing a survey where 55% of voters disapproved of his $1.4 billion in earnings from cryptocurrency ventures.

The survey by Echelon Insights showed that 44% of respondents 'strongly' disapproved, while 11% 'somewhat' disapproved of Trump's cryptocurrency-related income.

Warren criticized the president for using his position to boost his family's cryptocurrency business, saying 'tens of millions of Americans can't afford the basics, and they want Washington to do something about the affordability crisis.'
