Warren Slams Trump's Crypto Fortune, Citing 55% Voter Disapproval
U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren is once again criticizing President Donald Trump's financial dealings, this time highlighting a survey that shows a majority of voters disapprove of his billion-dollar earnings from cryptocurrency ventures.
The survey by Echelon Insights found that 55% of voters disapproved of Trump's $1.4 billion in earnings from cryptocurrency-related activities, including the Official Trump (CRYPTO: TRUMP) memecoin and World Liberty Financial.
Warren pointed out that while many Americans are struggling to 'afford the basics', Trump is using his presidency to boost his family's cryptocurrency business.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but earlier this week, a spokesperson claimed that all actions by the administration are taken in the 'best interest of the American people' and rejected any suggestions of conflict of interest.
