Wavebridge and Jito Foundation Team Up on Institutional JitoSOL Products for South Korea
Wavebridge, a licensed Virtual Asset Service Provider in Seoul, has partnered with the Jito Foundation to develop institutional products based on JitoSOL, a liquid staking token on Solana. The agreement pairs Wavebridge's infrastructure expertise with the Jito Foundation's technical guidance on staking mechanics and risk management.
Under the memorandum of understanding (MOU), Wavebridge will handle custody, product structuring, and distribution, while the Jito Foundation will provide technical expertise on staking rewards and risk profiles. This partnership aims to bring institutional-grade products to South Korea's digital asset market.
The JitoSOL protocol has seen significant adoption, with over 14 million SOL deposited as of early 2026, making it the dominant liquid staking option on Solana. The MOU was signed around July 27, 2026.
Mark Liu, Asia-Pacific head of the Jito Foundation, described Wavebridge as 'the ideal partner' for introducing JitoSOL in South Korea's regulated market infrastructure. He emphasized that this partnership focuses on long-term growth rather than a quick product launch.
