Webot Bets on Compliance Plus Automation to Survive Crypto's New Normal
Webot is making a case for itself as an exchange that stands out in the market by combining formal regulatory coverage in both the United States and the European Union with native AI trading bots. This combination gives users access to regulated markets in two major regions, along with automated trading tools directly on the exchange.
The company holds licenses across 48 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands in the U.S., and a MiCA Trading Platform Authorization issued in Ireland in the EU. Unlike exchanges that rely on third-party bot platforms, Webot runs its bots natively on the exchange, allowing users to deploy strategies like grid trading and smart trade without sending API access to an external service.
Webot's U.S. leadership includes CEO Jay Hua, a former Goldman Sachs Vice President with a quantitative background that also includes roles at Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, and Two Sigma. Hua will share more of his perspective in a live online webinar later this month, discussing how AI is changing automated trading and Webot's product direction.
