WebX 2026 Wraps in Tokyo: 13,600+ Attendees Explore Web3 Future
The fourth edition of WebX, Japan's flagship web3 conference, has concluded in Tokyo after two days of discussions and networking. The event drew over 13,600 participants from more than 90 countries to The Prince Park Tower Tokyo.
High-level regulatory and institutional dialogues dominated the agenda, with key policymakers and industry leaders addressing topics such as yen stablecoins, tokenization adoption by megabanks, and growing institutional confidence in the sector.
The conference featured presentations on artificial intelligence, tokenization, and digital infrastructure across three stages, alongside interactive workshops and an exhibition area. Attendees also participated in activities like a stamp rally, networking sessions, and cultural events such as traditional Japanese tea ceremonies.
WebX 2027 has been announced to take place at Tokyo Big Sight next year, with organizers anticipating significant growth in global institutional participation.
