WEEX Cements Its Security Lead with CoinGape Web3 Innovation Award

Global cryptocurrency exchange WEEX has been recognized as the most secure crypto exchange at the CoinGape Web3 Innovation Awards 2026. The platform's security framework is built on public verifiability, publishing wallet addresses, reserve ratios, and fund allocations that users can independently confirm at any time.

WeEX's proof of reserves system covers its major holdings, with latest published reserve ratios showing approximately 102% for USDT, 115% for ETH, and 122% for BTC. Each figure is independently verifiable through WEEX's public wallet addresses.

The exchange also maintains a 1,000 BTC Protection Fund to cover user losses in the event of a security incident that is not the user's fault. The fund's wallet addresses are public, allowing anyone to verify its holdings on-chain.
