Wells Fargo Enters $9.18 Million Bet on Bitwise XRP ETF

Wells Fargo, one of the largest U.S. banks, has disclosed its exposure to XRP through the Bitwise XRP ETF in its Q2 2026 13F-HR filing with the SEC.

The filing, made on August 14 and covering the period ending June 30, shows that Wells Fargo holds approximately $9.18 million in the Bitwise XRP ETF across two separate positions.

The positions are valued at $1.39 million and $7.79 million, respectively, and both reference the same CUSIP, confirming they point to the Bitwise XRP ETF.

Xaif, a crypto commentator, noted that 'a bank of this scale disclosing millions in XRP ETF exposure is worth watching.'

This disclosure adds to the growing list of institutional names that have filed their Q2 2026 13F reports, including Citadel and Gallacher Capital Management.
