WEMIX$ contract has been compromised by an attacker who minted 5.23 million tokens without authorization.
The attack resulted in the conversion of part of these tokens into $724,198 in USDC.e and movement across Ethereum and BNB Chain.
Bridges and affected trading services have been frozen while wallets are being traced.
WEMIX$ price is now around $0.0107, roughly 98.9% below its intended $1 peg.
