Whale Sees Bitcoin Price Breaking Above $60,000 Barrier
A crypto whale who goes by the name 'Set Ten Major Goals First' shared their thoughts on Bitcoin's future trajectory on the X platform. According to them, after closing short positions, they quickly re-established long positions because their medium- to long-term outlook has not changed.
They consider $60,000 a critical dividing region in the previous bull market and believe that the current mainstream mining cost of Bitcoin is roughly concentrated in the $50,000, $60,000 range. Last month's brief drop to $58,000 and subsequent recovery demonstrated the support capacity of this area.
Without systemic risk or significant changes in fundamentals, the whale finds the risk-reward ratio for further shorting at the current position not high. They predict that once Bitcoin completes consolidation and rotation in the $58,000, $63,000 range, pulls back, and regains ground near $66,000, the market will be positioned for further upside.
A surge in trading volume could drive Bitcoin to break through $72,000. The whale also noted that valuations in the US stock market, especially the AI-related sectors, are currently relatively high and future volatility may increase. Additionally, they stated that Bitcoin's correlation with the US stock market has clearly decreased compared to past cycles.
