Whale Transfer Tests Chainlink Price Rally

Chainlink's recent price rally was put to the test when a whale transferred $2.3 million worth of LINK tokens to Coinbase.

The transfer added sell-side supply to the market, causing Chainlink's price to fall 3.04% in the 24 hours following the transaction.

However, spot outflows of $8.35 million exceeded the incoming supply from the whale, indicating that the broader flow picture remained more supportive than initially implied.

The whale's deposit did not provide for wider exchange-wide distribution and was significantly lower than the spot outflows.

The decline in derivatives participation also slowed down before Chainlink's price had fully lost its recent recovery trend.
