Whales Flock to Self-Custody, PEPE Price Still in the Doldrums Amid AlphaPepe's Rising Star

Whales in the PepeCoin (PEPE) market have made their largest move since November 2024, withdrawing a net total of 4.54 trillion PEPE tokens from centralized exchanges on August 5.

This significant outflow is seen as a bullish signal by analysts, indicating that whales are quietly accumulating tokens in self-custody, betting on a price increase when the sector recovers.

However, the price of PEPE remains low, trading at around $0.0000026, roughly 90% below its December 2024 high.

In contrast to PEPE's struggles, AlphaPepe is experiencing growth, with a presale that runs on a staged ladder and has already raised over $2.3 million from more than 10,000 holders.
