Whales Load Up on Cardano as Price Nears Key Resistance
Cardano's ADA token has seen significant growth over the past week, rising nearly 12% to trade around $0.184. This outperformance of the broader crypto market comes as whale wallets have accumulated more than 240 million ADA in just five days, according to on-chain analytics platform Santiment.
These large investors continue to add to their positions as ADA breaks above several short-term resistance levels, reducing the available liquid supply on exchanges. As a result, purchases of this size can tighten market liquidity and amplify price moves whenever fresh buying enters the market.
The support for ADA also comes from Cardano's latest development roadmap, which outlines the first steps toward the Dijkstra hard fork era after the community approved Protocol v11, also known as the Van Rossem hard fork, through on-chain governance.
