Whales Pile into Bitcoin as ETF Inflows Soar Past $626M

U.S. Bitcoin ETF inflows have accelerated again as large holders accumulate BTC below the $65,000 level.

The data shows that spot Bitcoin funds drew about $626 million from Aug. 3 through Aug. 5, with BlackRock's IBIT dominating that run, collecting roughly $479 million across the three sessions.

This concentration of money in one fund highlights investor preference for a large and liquid vehicle, but also limits how far traders can interpret Bitcoin ETF inflows as broad market conviction.

On-chain activity strengthens the institutional demand narrative, with Santiment data showing wallets holding 10 to 10,000 BTC accumulating more than 20,000 BTC worth about $1.2 billion since July 29.
