White-Hat Hacker Seizes $320 Million in BTC from Liquid Network
A reported white-hat hacker has withdrawn approximately $320 million in BTC from Liquid Network's Federation wallet, claiming they will return the funds once a network bug is fixed.
The alleged white-hat hacker withdrew around 4,000 BTC using the SideSwap PAK (Peg-out Authorization Key) but stated that no other keys were compromised. The key itself was not hacked.
Liquid Network has temporarily disabled its bridge nodes and paused new transactions to address the issue. The exchange assured customers that other assets on the network, including USDT, DePix, and real-world assets, were unaffected.
