White-Hat Hacker Withdraws 95% of Liquid Network's Reserves in $320M Heist

A security breach at Liquid Network, a Bitcoin sidechain, resulted in the withdrawal of 4,000 Bitcoin worth about $320 million.

The withdrawal was carried out by an entity claiming to be a white-hat hacker, according to The Block's report on September 6.

Liquid held approximately 4,200 Bitcoin in reserves before the incident, meaning the withdrawn amount was roughly 95% of the total.
