White-Hat Hackers Return 85% of Stolen Liquid Bitcoin to Blockstream
A group of self-described white-hat hackers exploited Liquid Network's bridge and withdrew 4,000 BTC, worth approximately $269.2 million.
The actors returned 3,400 BTC to the Liquid Federation wallet after Blockstream patched its bridge nodes, recovering about 85% of the withdrawn funds.
Roughly $47 million remains in the withdrawal-linked address, and it is unclear why the group retained this amount or whether they intend to return it.
