White House Brings Crypto Leaders Together with SEC, CFTC Chairs
The White House has convened a meeting between crypto leaders and the chairs of the SEC and CFTC. This marks the first such session since February, when talks on stablecoin rewards collapsed without agreement.
The meeting stems from the CLARITY Act being stuck in the Senate for 13 months. The act's September 15 vote will determine whether debate even begins.
The CFTC is also hosting its inaugural Innovation Advisory Committee meeting on Thursday to address crypto regulation updates, AI in finance, and prediction markets.
