White House Crypto Summit Fuels Robinhood Rally
Robinhood Markets Inc. (NASDAQ: HOOD) shares rose 7.68% to $111.58 on Tuesday, following a White House summit on cryptocurrency policy held the previous week.
The event featured key regulatory figures including CFTC Chairman Michael Selig and SEC Chairman Paul Atkins, who were joined by President Donald Trump in reiterating his commitment to U.S. leadership in the digital asset space.
Trump urged Congress to pass the CLARITY Act, which would establish clear regulatory standards for the industry. The rally also came as Bitcoin reached $79,287 and interest in tokenized stock trading and prediction markets expanded.
Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev has been a vocal advocate for tokenization, describing it as an unstoppable force capable of overhauling the financial system.
