The committee features a panel of experts from various fields, including traditional finance and crypto. Despite the delay in passing the Clarity Act, regulators are moving ahead with initiatives that support the growth of the crypto industry.
President Trump has been a proponent of crypto, campaigning on a ticket to make America the 'crypto capital of the world'. Since taking office, he has signed several measures supporting the industry, including an executive order in March 2025 directing the creation of a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
