The White House is hosting a meeting this week to discuss cryptocurrency regulation, which could impact the price of Bitcoin and Ether.

According to Mesta founder Sandeep Pyapali, regulatory uncertainty could keep these cryptocurrencies 'range-bound' even if macro data improves.

Pyapali notes that until the 'regulatory fog clears,' Bitcoin and Ether may remain in a narrow trading range.

The meeting comes as the Clarity Act, which establishes a framework for digital assets, has been stuck in the Senate since June with a procedural vote delayed until September 15.
