White House Omits Prediction Markets from Tech Leaders Meeting

The White House has announced that it will not be inviting prediction market firms to an upcoming technology leaders meeting at the White House.

The event, hosted by President Donald Trump, is intended to strengthen America's innovative and technological dominance. Cryptocurrency executives are expected to attend, but prediction markets have been left out of the invite list.

A person familiar with the matter told the Washington Examiner that the White House decided to focus on crypto at this event, which is reportedly a kickoff for the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's innovation committee.
