The Gemini Trust Company, led by co-founders Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, has made two significant Bitcoin donations to President Donald Trump's MAGA Inc. Super PAC.

The total amount of $10 million in BTC was transferred on June 19, just three weeks after the CFTC and Gemini jointly filed a motion to reverse a $5 million settlement reached in January 2025.

CFTC Chair Michael Selig previously characterized the original enforcement as 'politically targeted' under the prior administration. If the court grants relief, the $5 million penalty will not be returned to Gemini, according to a CFTC spokesperson.

The Winklevoss brothers have been open supporters of Trump, donating over $21 million in Bitcoin to various political groups and attending events with the President. This latest contribution adds to their growing influence in US politics, particularly as lawmakers push for additional CFTC commissioner nominations to oversee broader crypto-market rules.
