Winklevoss Twins Funnel $10M in Bitcoin to Trump's Super PAC
The Winklevoss twins have contributed over $10 million in Bitcoin to MAGA Inc., President Donald Trump's leading super PAC, just three weeks after their company Gemini and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission jointly asked a federal judge to vacate a previous settlement.
The donation came from liquidating 79.35 Bitcoin each, with Cameron Winklevoss contributing $5,006,604 and Tyler Winklevoss contributing $5,011,860 to MAGA Inc.
This is not the first time the Winklevoss twins have made significant contributions to Republican politics, having donated $1 million each to Trump's 2024 presidential campaign and $21 million worth of Bitcoin to the Digital Freedom Fund PAC in support of candidates aligned with cryptocurrency policy priorities.
