Wintermute Deposits Record $256M in Bitcoin to Binance This Week

Wintermute, a prominent cryptocurrency market maker, deposited 590.9 Bitcoin into Binance on August 18th, valued at approximately $45.66 million, according to blockchain tracking platform Onchain Lens.

This latest transfer brings Wintermute's total Bitcoin deposits to the exchange to 3,834.3 BTC, worth around $256.8 million, over the past week.

The series of deposits highlights ongoing activity by one of the crypto industry's most active liquidity providers. Market makers like Wintermute routinely move assets to facilitate trading operations, arbitrage, or to meet liquidity demands.

Despite significant volume of deposits, Bitcoin's price has remained relatively stable, suggesting that the market has absorbed the inflows without major disruption.
