Wintermute-Linked Wallet Holds $190M in Shorts as XRP Surges
A Wintermute-linked wallet had $190.77 million in short positions on Aug. 24, according to Onchain Lens.
The account's largest short position was Ethereum at $53.02 million, followed by Bitcoin at $30.66 million and Solana at $22.62 million.
The wallet also held a $10.19 million XRP short position, making it the fifth-largest bearish position in the account at the time.
Despite this, XRP had surged 47% over seven days to trade near $1.47 on Aug. 24.
