Wintermute Moves $98M in BTC to Binance Amid Price Surge

Wintermute, a leading market maker in the cryptocurrency market, has made significant Bitcoin transfers to Binance over the past 18 hours. According to data from Onchain Lens, Wintermute deposited a total of 1,279.99 BTC into Binance in eight separate transactions during this period.

The total value of these transfers is estimated to be approximately $98.68 million. In the most recent transfer, which took place just 30 minutes ago, 90.1 BTC was sent to the exchange, with a value of around $6.97 million at the time of the transfer.

Large-scale Bitcoin transfers to exchanges are often seen as an indicator of potential selling pressure in the market. However, it's worth noting that not every transfer directly constitutes a sale, and Wintermute may have other reasons for moving these assets.
