Wintermute-Tagged Wallet Unloads Half-Million Laptop Tokens at Launch

The Laptop Token (LAPTOP) has been making waves in the crypto market since its launch. Recently, onlookers have taken notice of a Wintermute-tagged wallet that sold nearly half a million LAPTOP tokens for approximately $2.08 million. Lookonchain, an onchain analyst, discovered this information and reported it to the public.

The Wintermute-tagged wallet in question received a 466,255 token allocation from the Laptop Token team. These tokens were then sold at an average price of $4.47 each, totaling around $2 million. The address is tagged by Arkham as being associated with Wintermute.

This sale happened on the day of LAPTOP's launch, and it was not the only notable event that occurred during this time. Trader Jaider Hurtado reported that the token's opening market was thin, with Aerodrome and Uniswap pools showing little liquidity. He also observed a 98% drop in price from $316.75 to about $6 within a short period of time.
