WisdomTree Bitcoin ETF Sees Millions Flow Out as Price Hits $77K

Investors have been pulling money out of WisdomTree's Bitcoin Fund (BTCW) despite the asset's recent price resilience. On August 14, $4.02 million flowed out of the ETF, accounting for about 2.6% of its $157.18 million in assets under management.

This is one of the largest single-day withdrawals from BTCW in recent months. The asset, however, remains firm, with its price up around 4.16% over the past three months and currently trading at $77,023.11.

The contrast between investor caution and the coin's technical setup may be due to profit-taking and rotation among institutional traders rather than a shift in crypto sentiment. The fund's positioning is sensitive to further swings in risk appetite around digital assets.
