Witkoff Earns $107M from Trump-Affiliated Crypto Venture Amid Conflict Concerns
Steve Witkoff, US special envoy and co-founder of cryptocurrency firm World Liberty Financial, earned nearly $107 million in 2026 from his holding company affiliated with the firm. This revelation comes after financial disclosures obtained by a government watchdog showed that Witkoff's son, Zach Witkoff, operates the firm alongside Donald Trump's three sons.
Witkoff was previously listed as 'co-founder emeritus' on World Liberty's website, a title he shared with President Trump. The firm recently secured preliminary approval from the Trump administration to operate as a bank, sparking concerns about conflicts of interest.
Trump himself reported earning $526 million from selling cryptocurrency tokens through World Liberty Financial and another $65 million from sales of equity in the holding company's shares.
